Gary Riggs wants you to come home. With the opening of his new 45,000 square-foot comprehensive design studio and showroom in North Dallas, more than his address changed. Gary Riggs Interiors has now become Gary Riggs Home. “We’re not just a design center,” he explained. “We found a lot of people were confused.” The space is a designers dream, allowing for much creativity. “We’ve got all kinds of architecture in the space which will help us showcase different styles.” The concept for the new space located at 5217 Alpha Road in Dallas was a design challenge, and Gary wasn’t initially sold on the idea of joining the two spaces. Such different architecture, and especially structural designs, posed tough challenges. With creative planning, those challenges became opportunities in the form of a sunken showroom area and a catwalk.
